The first leg of Hamilton's UK tour will begin in Manchester

Cast of Hamilton

The acclaimed musical Hamilton will make its first ever tour of the UK.

The performance will begin at Manchester's Palace Theatre on November 11 and run there for 15 weeks, until February 24, 2024.

The show will then spend two months at Edinburgh's Festival Theatre before touring the UK; additional venues will be announced soon.

The Lin-Manuel Miranda-written tour is currently casting, and tickets will go on sale the following month.

Since 2017, the Cameron Mackintosh and Jeffrey Seller production has been performing in London's West End, and performances at the Victoria Palace Theatre continue to sell out.

"I am delighted that the time has come to put together a second British national touring company to bring this fantastic show to our leading cities," said Cameron Mackintosh.

The real Alexander Hamilton story began in Ayrshire, where his father was born in the 1700s, before moving to Nevis in the West Indies. Opening first in Manchester, followed by Edinburgh, both of which are close to that beginning.

"We begin casting for a fantastic new company tomorrow. We are eager to welcome spectators into "the room where it happens.". ".

On March 10 at 10:00 GMT, ATG Theatre Card holders will be able to purchase tickets for the Manchester performances.

The general ticket sales start on March 13 at 10:00 GMT.
