A woman helped a dairy farmer who was featured on the television program Clarkson's Farm by raising more than £26,000.

The plight of Emma Ledbury, who was rumored to have lost half her cattle to tuberculosis, touched Solihull resident Rebecca Poole, 45.

When Ms. Poole learned about the Amazon Prime program, she started an online fundraising effort.

She set a goal of £10,000 but quickly received an influx of donations from the public.

Ms. Ledbury is said to have maintained her farm as a result.

A nursery deputy manager, Ms. Poole, said, "I'm just blown away by how kind people are, especially in the current financial climate where people are struggling to buy food or heating.".

"And this cause has touched not only my heart but the heart of the entire country.

"I've received donations from Britain, Ireland, Scotland, Australia, Canada, and the United States. ".

The program follows famous auto enthusiast Jeremy Clarkson as he runs a farm in Oxfordshire.

After learning that her father had non-Hodgkin lymphoma, Ms. Poole claimed she had been expressing the "anger" she felt.

My dad having cancer and not being able to be treated for it made me feel like I had all these angry feelings, she said.

"I decided to channel all of my rage into something because I didn't think I could just sit around and mope.

"I was watching television when I saw [Emma] and thought, 'I can help her. ".

The couple is now the beneficiaries of the online fund after Ms Poole got in touch with Ms. Ledbury's husband.
