Antoine Semenyo: Bournemouth sign Ghana forward from Bristol City

Antoine Semenyo, a forward from Ghana, has been acquired by Bournemouth from Bristol City for over £10 million and a four-and-a-half-year contract.

During his time at the Robins, where he was a product of the academy, the 23-year-old scored 21 goals and contributed 22 assists.

He has previously spent time on loan at Sunderland, Newport County, and Bath City.

Neill Blake, the chief executive of Bournemouth, said: "Antoine is an exciting player and one we have kept an eye on for a while.

"We're thrilled to welcome him to the club because he had interest from elsewhere. ".

Semenyo, who had four goals in his final five games for the Robins, might make his Bournemouth debut on February 4 when they take on Brighton.

In an effort to help the Cherries avoid relegation, Gary O'Neil has added him as his third player of the January transfer window after Darren Randolph and Dango Ouattara.
